To sum this book up, it starts off with really basic stuff such as configuring the core module and http/server modules. It has a steep knowledge curve and finishes off with teaching you how to write your own module in C.

I have to say I'm rather disappointed. I've got the impression that it is just a simple concatenation of the public manual pages for NGINX and its components over the web.

Like another reviewer here, I have started writing Nginx modules and upon seeing this title was eager to see it described in a simple and useful format. I was worse than disappointed.
