Thoroughly revised and updated, the Fourth Edition of this pocket-sized handbook provides comprehensive, concise, evidence-based information on diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the elderly patient.
The Little Black Book of Geriatrics is a convenien.
Very helpful book for those treating geriatric patients.
This book is an excellent resource for understanding lab values and getting background information on the various comorbidities that many of my clients list in their medical history. Most of my patients are well over 80 and to give them the best care it is nice to be able to treat the whole patient, understanding what is going on with their other organ systems and how it affects muscle and nerve function.
The important information is wedged between oodles of footnotes & reference notations making its usefulness difficult, especially for a quick reference guide. I returned the book.
