I'll confess that I'm an attorney with a big interest in this subject, so factor that in, but personally I thought this book offered a fascinating, (if slightly dated), glimpse of the inner-workings of the High Court and great profiles of past and present Justices. I agree with the reviewer who noted that it would likely appeal to a generalist as well as someone who has studied the Court and its jurisprudence.

Interesting, but dated material. Doesn't cover the present Court.

This is a very informative book. It is also a page turner.
